Job Specifications
Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a Technical Architect on a 6 months contract.
Key Responsibilities:
? Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions on AWS
? Define technical strategy, roadmaps, and best practices for AWS-based applications
? Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure solutions
? Provide guidance on AWS services, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps methodologies
? Conduct architecture reviews, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards
? Define API and integration strategies for cloud-native and hybrid systems
? Work closely with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
Key Skills & Experience:
?? Proven experience as a Technical Architect in AWS environments
?? Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, etc.)
?? Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
?? Experience with Microservices, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
?? Strong understanding of security best practices, networking, and IAM
?? Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline)
?? Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
?? Previous experience in government, GDS, or regulated industries (preferred)
