Senior Data Modeller – Front Office – Derivatives

A leading investment bank are improving the data model underpinning their derivatives business and have an opportunity for a senior data modeller to play a key role in work seen as foundational to future applications of artificial intelligence.

This is a business-owned role and as such requires an individual with a background in product-aligned front office roles, for example quantitative analytics or business-owned projects resources, who can work to define a data model for the derivatives business that can be integrated data architectures that leverage cloud and data mesh technologies.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

10+ years’ experience within front office aligned data analytics, modelling and technology initiatives
5+ years’ experience data modelling aligned to financial products, in particular OTC derivatives
Strong understanding of contemporary data and systems architecture, in particular data mesh
Extensive traded products experience across multiple asset classes
Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a £750-850/day PAYE role (net of employers contributions) based in London initially for six months. Hybrid working.
