With offices in London and New York, the company is a small but growing team (currently 8-10 people) seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to develop low-latency systems that power its trading operations. Completely greenfield, building from scratch.
Your Role:
As a Software Engineer – Trading Systems, you'll design, build, and optimise backend systems that ensure high-speed, low-latency trading performance. Your work will focus on trading connectivity, order execution, and position management, with direct exposure to crypto markets.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain low-latency backend systems for trading operations.
Optimize performance and reliability of our trading infrastructure.
Work with crypto exchange APIs for seamless trade execution.
Identify and debug complex system integration issues efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong background in low-latency backend development.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience working with crypto exchange APIs.
Passion for high-performance, scalable systems.
Experience with C++, Rust, Go in a trading environment.
Background in market-making, HFT, or algo trading.
Understanding of distributed systems and concurrency.
