My client is a small Insurance organisation that falls under the umbrella of an extensive, global insurance organisation that is based in the USA and who are one of the biggest names in the insurance industry.
They are seeking a dedicated and experienced ITSM Engineer, based in the UK, to join their team for a 6-12 month term. The ITSM Engineer will be responsible for implementing and optimizing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enhancing the overall efficiency of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management.
Provide expert advice on ITSM best practices and the ITIL framework.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective IT service delivery.
Conduct root cause analysis and problem management for recurring incidents.
Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Handle high-pressure situations and critical service outages with effective problem-solving skills.
Continuously improve ITSM processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or similar.
Proven experience in IT Service Management, preferably in a similar role.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or ManageEngine.
Familiarity with root cause analysis and problem management techniques.
Ability to develop and maintain SLAs.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives The candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our large VMware-based virtual desktop environment. They will be a part of the Security & Privacy org and within the Cyber Defense & Engineering team. They will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, design tailored VDI solutions, and provide expert-level support to ensure optimal system performance and security. Additionally, the individual must be well versed in Network Storage, VMware on AWS and Azure AD.Collaborate with clients to assess their VDI needs and design customized solutions.
