Azure DevOps Engineer
Azure DevOps Engineer - Azure, Azure AD, Terraform, SCCM, Intune
6 month contract position
Up to £550 p/d Umbrella rate
London, Hybrid
Join a growing business to manage Microsoft Azure and Intune/SCCM environments, ensuring high availability, automation, and performance. This role involves Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation, pipeline management, and continuous optimisation. The client is London based but may require some travel overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & manage Azure DevOps pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Maintain and optimise Azure infrastructure, ensuring security best practices.
Manage Intune & SCCM for endpoint management.
Implement IaC using Terraform and monitor systems via NetData.
Troubleshoot DNS, Web Servers (Azure WebApp, Apache TomCat, NGINX, IIS).
Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Perl, SQL) and collaborate across teams.
Technical Skills Required:
Azure, Azure AD, Terraform, Citrix XenApp, SCCM, Intune
Scripting: PowerShell, Perl, SQL
Web Servers: Azure WebApp, NGINX, IIS, Apache TomCat
Monitoring: NetData
Certifications (Desirable): ITIL v4, CompTIA A+, or equivalent experience
This contract role offers the chance to work independently and in teams, solving complex technical challenges in an enterprise cloud environment.

Job Description CORE POWER is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the next iteration of our company website, improving its visual appeal, functionality, and performance. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early career engineer eager to gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development and automated testing. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, using modern technologies to deliver a seamless user experience. Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer at CORE POWER, you will: Develop and implement updates to the next iteration of the company website, focusing on UI/UX enhancements, translating design prototypes into code, performance optimisation and new features that align with business goals. Build full-stack solutions in Django and React. Maintain and enhance existing applications to ensure stability, security and optimal performance. Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and creative brainstorming sessions with the Marketing team and other stakeholders to contribute ideas and solutions. Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to refine the user experience and maintain a cohesive design system, ensuring consistency across the website and other assets. Ensure high software quality through automated testing using pytest and Playwright. Identify and implement opportunities for performance and scalability improvements, such as optimising database queries and refining frontend performance. Monitor system performance and stability using logging and monitoring tools. Participate in code reviews to maintain best practice coding standards. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Python is required, particularly with Django or a similar framework. Exposure to JavaScript and a JavaScript frontend framework, particularly React, is beneficial. Experience with Typescript is advantageous. Awareness of pytest and Playwright is a plus. Understanding of version control and software development best practices.
