IT Engineer (2nd Line) - 12 month Contract - Great Yarmouth - Up to £200 Per Day - INSIDE IR35
Currently looking for an IT Engineer to work on behalf of a large, successful £multi-billion client.
The IT Engineer will form part of a small but dedicated team providing world class desk side support services to a manufacturing site based in Great Yarmouth.
Ensuring optimum business benefit is available and will continue to be available from the company's investment in computer hardware, software and communications systems.
To maintain high levels of service to users of IT equipment, providing guidance, assistance, and problem resolution whilst enforcing company policy on the use of computer equipment, software, and networked services.
Working with key suppliers and internal colleagues to ensure all parties are familiar with company standards and company infrastructure.
You will have:
At least 3 years problem solving experience in either a field or desk side environment
Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Desktop operating systems (Windows 10/Windows 11) and associated technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (2008 onwards).
In-depth knowledge of desktop, laptop and peripheral hardware configurations.
Excellent hardware fault diagnosis skills.
Good working knowledge of deployment technologies and products (eg, SCCM/Ghost/Altiris/True Image).
Broad knowledge of networking technologies (eg, wireless/VPN) and cabling systems.

Determine the most appropriate methods of dimensional control taking advice from specialists where appropriate. Ensure setting out data is controlled.
