Role description:

We are looking forward to hiring a Senior Guidewire Tech Lead / Consultant, based in London, to be part of the strategic Policy and claim admin platform consolidation programme.

Key responsibilities:

Should understand the complexity nature of the business problems and requirements.
Design highly scalable software solutions to improve functionality and system longevity.
Develop modules of the initial enterprise system plan and work with the development team by coding
advanced portions of the modules
Plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle
Consolidate the requirements and identify the future proof solutions.
Should be adept in performance tuning
Suggesting and implementing best practices of Agile methodology and design/development principles.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

Expertise in Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10. (configure and customise ClaimCenter Application
as required)
Knowledge of insurance domain and claims process
Experience in integrating Guidewire Claims Centre with downstream systems including finance systems (general ledger), payment systems and documents management systems
Experience in integrating Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10 with third party/broker policy management systems
Experience in integrating 3rd party feeds to cloud data platforms
Experienced in migrating data from legacy systems to Guidewire Claims Centre V9 or V10
Drawing efficient High Level and Low-level design documents
5+ years’ experience working directly with customers or key internal stakeholders
Expertise in reconciling data from Guidewire to Datawarehouse.
Experience and demonstrated abilities with GOSU programming, XML, PCF, REST and SOAP
Guidewire Configuration certification preferred
Experience with source code management systems such as Subversion, GitHub
Flexible in working under changing and different work environments
Knowledge of General Insurance domain and claims processes.
Contribute to the development of internal tools that can be used during triage and identify reconciliation issues
Familiarity with software development lifecycle, Agile preferred
Experience troubleshooting software code and reporting progress.

Role & Responsibilities: Able to utilise a Digital Engineering model to provide information to create Visual Method Statements and Visual Task sheets. Confidence to show other team members. Fully implements and ensures compliance with the LOR Management of Temporary works procedure on projects. Explains these procedures to others. Determine the most appropriate methods of dimensional control taking advice from specialists where appropriate. Ensure setting out data is controlled. Can interrogate and transfer setting out data from 3D CAD data. Determine requirement for and format of as-built surveys and reports. Defines scope of survey to demonstrate compliance. Produces and/ or ensures that ITP's are produced, available and implemented. Ensures that they fully address specification and contractual obligations.
