Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised Middle Office Credit Risk Analyst to join their fast-paced team. This role plays a pivotal part in assuring the accuracy of Market Risk Data for a global leader in financial services. As an integral part of the second line of defence, you will have ample opportunity to learn and develop, supporting a wide range of risks across all business sectors.

What you'll do:
As a Middle Office Credit Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility will be performing control checks to identify data quality issues within the firm's risk data. This function is crucial as the risk data is used to support investment decisions and submitted to regulators. You will also be responsible for identifying drivers of changes in market risk measures and liaising with stakeholders to understand its validity. Your role will extend to remediating data quality issues in line with agreements with Product Controllers and/or MRBG.
Perform daily data quality checks on VaR, Stress and other market risk measures within agreed controls.

Remediate data quality issues in line with agreements with Product Controllers and/or MRBG.
Research, resolve, and escalate Line of Business, Market Risk Management and Audit inquiries.
Maintain daily procedure manuals, ensuring that all local regulatory requirements are met.
Build effective partnerships with the Market Risk Coverage, Product Control, Market Risk Technology, Market Risk Basel Group, Market Risk Quantitative Research and Market Risk Reporting teams.
Ensure that all processes are run in the most effective, efficient, and timely manner to meet all SLAs.
What you bring:
As a Middle Office Credit Risk Analyst, you bring a strong understanding of business processes and their risk implications. Your professional, self-motivated nature allows you to adapt quickly and work effectively under pressure. You have excellent problem-solving skills which enable you to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment handling large amounts of data. Your excellent communication skills allow you to create and present training materials effectively.

Fraud Detection: 1 year (preferred)
Fraud Analyst: 1 year (preferred)
Anti-Fraud: 1 year (preferred)
