Job Description

Client is a Global Quantitative Trading business, on the search for a strong Senior SRE:


Are you a Linux expert with a passion for automation, scalability, and system reliability? Do you thrive in an environment where you can optimize and secure infrastructure while solving complex challenges? If so, we’d love to have you on our team!

What You’ll Do:
Manage and optimize Linux-based, on-premise containerized web services to ensure performance and reliability.
Automate infrastructure management using scripting and configuration tools, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.
Design and maintain secure, highly available Linux systems that support critical business applications.
Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect and resolve system issues before they impact users.
Document best practices for Linux system administration, architecture, and troubleshooting.
Break down complex technical challenges and communicate solutions effectively to diverse teams and stakeholders.
Administer DHCP and DNS for on-premise and external systems, ensuring seamless network operations.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Linux system administration, or similar roles.
Strong Linux expertise (system tuning, performance optimization, security hardening, and troubleshooting).
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Experience managing containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, or Puppet.
Bonus Points for:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
Web development experience to help bridge infrastructure and application performance.
